The Vienna State Opera

The building that currently houses the Vienna State Opera was built in 1869 by architect August von Zikkarda Zikkardsburga, its interior designed Eduard van der Nülle. For a long time it was thought that this building - one of the finest theater buildings in the world.

Concerts are held at Schonbrunn since 1997 and already an integral part of the cultural life of Vienna.
