    Excursion in PragueThis excursion will allow you to examine the historical districts of Prague and its remarkable monuments of architecture in a short period of time. You will pass through the labyrinths of small streets of the Old City and visit the most beautiful places of the city on Wenceslas and Old town squares at the Charles Bridge. You will see the well-known Prague Astronomical Clock, the Church of the Mother of God before Týn where the writer Franz Kafka was born, and Jewish quarter.

    When you come to the Charles Bridge, touch to the hand of John Nepomucene monument and make a wish which according to the legend will surely come true.

    The excursion will start from the Wenceslas monument on Wenceslas square which is a peculiar spiritual and historical symbol of the Czech Republic. The equestrian monument of the patron of the Czech Republic is one of favorite meeting places for residents of Prague. The business meeting or rendezvous start with the saying "Let's meet at a horse". Then you will come to the Old Town Square through a labyrinth of small streets of the Old City. This square will amaze you with its famous Chiming clock, which makes performance of moving apostle figures every hour for tourists.

    In the center of the square there is the Prague meridian by which time in the Middle Ages was determined, and a monument of Jan Hus. A number of historical events are connected with the square, both solemn and tragic. In 1422 the square became a place of execution of one leader of the Hussites movement, i.e. Yan Zhelivskyi.

    On the next stage you will enjoy the history of the Jewish settlement in Prague (the beginning of Xth century), Jewish city, Old Jewish ghetto and Jewish cemetery. You will visit synagogues including the famous Old New Synagogue. You will also examine the house where Franz Kafka was born.

    The excursion culmination is the walk at the well-known Charles Bridge which is a peculiar sculptural outdoor gallery. There are 30 statues on the bridge which create a unique atmosphere of Prague of the middle of the 18th century. The excursion will end by a walk across the Small country and Сampa which is known as “Czech Venice".
