Excursion in Budapest

Budapest is considered one of the most beautiful cities of Europe by right. However, if you look closely, it is visible that the city is ragged. Unfortunately, fathers of the city don't hurry with restoration of the magnificent buildings constructed at the turn of 19-20 centuries, frayed by time and military destructions. And nevertheless it is the city which should be seen. The city streets are decorated with the multiply eklego (historicism) and romantic secession, except the unique examples of architecture of the Roman and Turkish era. In the downtown the blue Danube flows under the delicate bridges.

Pest is located on one bank of the Danube on the plain and Buda is located on other plain. Hills tower over the downtown from which a magnificent panorama of the old city and the Danube embankment brought in the list of the world human treasures by UNESCO opens. In the evening this panorama is full of decorative lighting. Having made a voyage around all sights you will be impressed for life.

Lovers of the fine arts will see a lot of interesting and numerous museums of Budapest. The Hungarian art, the art of Western Europe, Egypt and Greece wait for their connoisseurs. Budapest is a real Mecca for the admirers of the thermal waters. There are more than 100 thermal sources on the city territory.

The majority of them supply the bathing huts and hydropathical establishments. Bathing huts Sechen and Gellert are especially interesting and popular. The Turkish baths of Budapest which come up to our times safely from the middle of the 16th century help to forget about worldly vanity and remove the stress of fussy days.
